SHARING

Dear TELTA,

My email is a call for help from you as the association which understands the value of quality teachers.

I am the leading organiser of Bratislava ELT Forum, one of the top ELT events in central and eastern Europe. Since its start in 2010, the event has grown tremendously thanks to the team of volunteer organisers. However, increasing popularity of the event requires and deserves a dedicated team of employed organisers, whom we cannot pay.

We are struggling to create such a team unless we increase the participation fee, which we strictly reject to do as we believe that this event should stay affordable for all people interested. The only way to have our cake and eat it, too, is to ask for help from those who have the means to support us. You are one of them.

For more information about our crowdfunding project please check the site for ELT Forum:

More information on previous conferences are in archive of ELTFORUM: www.eltforum.sk
or check our FB page: www.facebook.com/eltforum.sk

Could you please send the link to our crowdfunding page to as many members of association, teachers, language enthusiasts, friends, and acquaintances as possible? Please send it not only for the sake of getting them donate, but, more importantly, to share it with people who either are teachers or wish to support them. If you need any materials to be written for this purpose, let me know please.

I can see the bright future of the Forum ahead, but we will only get there with your help and support.

Thank you.

Kind regards,

On behalf of ELTforum team
Klaudia Bednárová
president of the Slovak Association of Language Schools
